The Botanist by Desa Eko in Bali

"Outstanding food and coffee. The menu is interesting, healthy and varied. The driveway to enter is a bit steep so I messaged to ask if there was parking. I got an instant response and was met on the driveway by a staff member to help me park my rental car.. There are steps with no handrail to get down to the restaurant but not too bad. Views are spectacular and it's really peaceful up in the trees. We had a little rest on one of the daybeds before going on our way. Only wish we were staying longer and could come back."

"The staff was very nice. The atmosphere was super cool and the views as well were great. The menu was big and diverse. Breakfast options are limited but very tasty. Quality of the food is great and would definitely come back! We went a total of 3 times while staying in Munduk, once for dinner and twice for breakfast. We also made a furry friend during our visit!"

"Desa Eko is a absolutely magical place. Nestled on a cliff side overlooking the face of the hills and lush forest, it is a place for those seeking solace in simplicity. It is truly a place to connect with nature and like minded souls. Our experience was amazing. Everything from the setting, the service of the staff, the ambiance and music was exceptional. The two residents dogs Desa & Eko were so adorable. The quality of the drinks, food and coffee is outstanding. Overall our most favorite place in Munduk. Thank you Desa Eko team for welcoming us and making us feel at home. Can't wait to visit again"

"Absolutely wonderful! Sometimes people treat you poorly when you travel alone to a restaurant. I was SO happy when the hostess suggested that I take one of the bed tables. I was just one person, and I felt like maybe it would be reserved for a group, but no. She let me have it and it was AMAZING! Customer service is A+. The food is also A+. I got the veggie bowl and a pot of “digestive” tea, and both were REALLY GOOD! I was shocked with how delicious the tea was! Yummmm! The only improvement would be to increase the portion size of chicken. That said, surprisingly filling meal. Beautiful location! Beautiful people! Great food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"Best café I went to in Bali! The view is simply breathtaking, I’ve loved spending the afternoon here relaxing in one of the nests. It felt like a dream. The smoothie bowl and coffee were great, only thing that looked better (and bigger) on the menu than in reality was the banana bread, which was still good."

"What a cosy hangout! Spent a few hours here and relaxed today after trekking. The Vegan pasta gf pesto dish was lovely (added sauté mushrooms too). And loved the Cucumber Sparkling drink Absolutely loved the spicy Cacao and the Passion Truffle Ball was incredible ( best ive had to date!). Enjoyed the mix of oracle cards too to dive into"

"Beautiful calming cafe on the side of the hill with amazing view. The vibe’s so relaxing, really love the atmosphere here. And the foods were also amazing, they have couple of vegan options, everything is good, tasty, big portion, and worth the price. Perfect place to chill and hang out with friends even it’s a good place to find some inspiration."
